Our mission is to provide a continuing relationship between the Valenti School of Communications and its former students by connecting its alumni through a variety of network and social events. In addition, the association continues to support students pursuing a career in the Communications field by helping them receive the funds they need to complete their studies at the University of Houston.

What better way to start of the school year than with a meeting about how much we love our school? We invite our alumni to kick off the school year by eating, networking and voting on Board for that school year. You don’t want to miss the chance to get involved, get to know some of our upcoming events and connect with our school.

ABOUT THE EVENT
Each year we team up with another alumni group to spread Cougar pride during the holidays. We host this holiday party to show alumni appreciation for our members and to better get to know other alums within the Cougar family.
Valenti Game Day Cookout
About The Event
Food, football, fun and your cougar family; the recipe for a great game day cookout. The Valenti Alumni Association teams up with the School of Communications to grill out in front of the school to enjoy music, food and games all while networking. This is a great way to see what the school is doing and to show support for our Houston Cougar Football team/
Cougar Saltwater Open
About The Event
This event funds scholarships for students currently pursuing studies in Communication at the University of Houston. We are proud to share that over the past nine years we have given $55,500 in scholarships to 31 students pursuing a degree in the Communication field.
One hundred percent of the funds raised from this event go directly to scholarships. We are extremely grateful to the current and future sponsors of this event for its continued success. We would be honored to have you or your organization join us in our efforts to provide much needed support for UH students
