Before every Cougar Football home game, UH Life Members and their guests are invited to the Life Member Experience, an exclusive pre-game gathering within Party on the Plaza featuring complimentary food, a cash bar and a comfortable space to connect.

Where do I park?
2026 Houston Football Single game parking is available in the Elgin Street/Purple Garage for all home games. Sales are available until 5pm the night before the game or until spaces are sold out.
Garage is located at 4224 Elgin St, Houston, TX 77204.
What are the season ticket options?
For the 2026 football season, guests will register individually for each Life Member Experience. This allows us to tailor each experience more closely to expected attendance and ensure a great gameday for all. You’ll receive event details and registration links ahead of every home game, so you can pick and choose the events that work best for your schedule.
Will the environment be kid-friendly?
Yes
What age do children get in for free?
Age 5 and under
Will there be special football rates for life members?
- No. Athletics sets the pricing for football games.

What is the bag policy?
The following bags are allowed:
- Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”
- One-gallon clear plastic resealable freezer bags
- A small clutch purse, no larger than 4.5” x 6.5”, with or without a handle or strap. These small clutches are subject to a search.
- An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection at the gate by TDECU Stadium personnel.
Do I have to bring the same guest every game?
No. Your guest doesn’t have to be the same person every game. As long as your guest has a valid Life Member Experience ticket, they’re welcome to attend.
Whats the difference between Party on the plaza and Life Member Experience?
What if I purchased a Party on the Plaza ticket instead of registering for the Life Member Experience?
No. The Life Member Experience requires separate registration for eligible UH Life Members and their guests. If you purchased only a Party on the Plaza ticket, you will have access to Party on the Plaza but not the Life Member Experience.
How will I check in for the Life Member Experience?
Can I get a ride to the stadium?
Golf carts will be available for our ADA guests. In order to secure a ride, there will be a sign-up sheet located by the entrance to the Life Member Experience. Rides typically begin 30 minutes before kick-off.
Generally when do the experiences start? Are there special activities at certain times?
The Life Member Experience generally begins three hours before kickoff and concludes approximately 30 minutes before the game. Special activities vary by game, but autograph sessions typically begin about one hour after the experience opens, and the Spirit of Houston Marching Band and mascots generally visit about 90 minutes before kickoff. Times and appearances are subject to change.
If I have a ticket for Life member experience, do I need one for an Alumni Association tent?
Your Life Member Experience registration includes access to Party on the Plaza, but some UH Alumni Association Foundation network and group tents may require separate registration or an additional fee.
Can I transfer my ticket to friends?
Please contact life@uh.edu to transfer tickets.
Can I still attend if I am behind on my Life Member payments?
To attend the Life Member Experience, your Life Membership must be current. If you’re unsure of your membership status or need assistance, please contact Julia Garza at life@uh.edu
