Spring has sprung, and the fountains are back on at Cullen Family Plaza! All is right with the world!

Alumni Relations & UH Alumni Association
I hope you can feel the excitement that we feel at this time of the year. Our constituent alumni associations for all of the colleges and special interest groups are hard at work on their signature events, and the enthusiasm across campus is palpable. Just last weekend we took part in the Hilton College Alumni Awards (congrats to all the honorees there!) and this weekend on April 8, we have our second Red Dinner, which is sold out.
We also have an upcoming special dedication ceremony at TDECU Stadium on April 15 at 12:30 p.m. – this event has a surprise element, so be sure and be in attendance to find out what is being celebrated! The ceremony will be followed by the UH Football Spring Game – the Red and White Game – at 2 p.m. The 63rd Annual UHAA Alumni Awards Gala is on May 6, the Ted Bauer Golf Classic is coming May 17, and we are finishing the semester stronger than ever.
And as we get our national city alumni associations going in Dallas, Phoenix, Atlanta, Tampa, Philadelphia, L.A., N.Y.C. and elsewhere, we are coming your way with big events planned for Fall 2017.
Take a few minutes to go to our website at www.houstonalumni.com and find all the ways you can get involved by joining a group from your college, or participate in one of our other great engagement opportunities. We know you are out there, and when you hear about the next 8,000 students that are getting ready to join our alumni ranks in May when they graduate, lend a helping hand and hire a Cougar! Our Career Services team will help you out anytime and facilitate the placement of fantastic and academically strong Cougar graduates in positions all across our city and nation. “Cougars hiring Cougars” is always a winning bet!
Have a great April and I hope to say, “Hello!” in person soon.
Go Coogs!
